The Local Area

La Manga is nestled in the hills near to Cartagena and is surrounded by highly productive irrigated farmland. Much of the local produce finds its way into British supermarkets

THE CLIMATE

All year sunshine

La Manga has  a very dry climate with log spells of cloud free days - right through the year. Its often warm enough to play golf in shorts and light sweater through December/January

Shallow lagoon

The Mar Menor dominates the landscape with the range of tall hotels visible on the 11 mile La Manga Strip. The shallow partially enclosed lagoon provides a range of water sports and provides a lovely backdrop for waterside restaurants and evening strolls

This famous Roman town with ancient amphitheater is a 20 min drive away. Explore the old town area or take a catamaran out in the bay.
